Software black box

The All-in-One mobility server is a software based black box, located as a virtual machine on one of your servers behind the firewall. Here is the central location of the majority of the security functions.

Closed user groups, closed server engines and a safe and confidential group internal data exchange are the core of cobago´s security architecture. All data is processed within a software black box which is not accessible from outside, even for the IT staff of the enterprise. The server is located behind the intranet´s firewalls on customer premise. No data is ever stored on mobile devices and hence do never find their way into data centers somewhere else in the world. Security and confidentiality is guaranteed.

Unified communication and collaboration is realized within this black box. The system takes care of highest possible data protection, even within the group and for the informational self determination of the user. Sent data can only be seen by sender and recipient, but not for the systems administrator or any other third party. Profile data are entered on a free will basis by the user and may only be used inside the group or enterprise. Distribution of status and presence data is always an outcome of active interaction, not of automatic tracking. To Summarize: There is an overall data protection mechanism for the mobile user.

Enabling oder external service

Mobility services based on cobago are either services of the enterprises IT or of a trusted service provider who is active within the corporate´s intranet or offers a private cloud service.
